Dr Aimee Murray is a Senior Lecturer of Microbiology in the University of Exeter Medical School's European Centre for Environment and Human Health, researching the evolution of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) with a focus on environmental pollution and how this may be contributing to the global AMR crisis. Using interdisciplinary approaches that span microbiology, ecotoxicology and environmental risk assessment, Aimee's research aims to generate meaningful data and methods for policy makers, industry and other stakeholders that can be used to improve human and environmental health.
