Anouk Blauw

Dr Anouk Blauw is a Marine Ecologist who has worked with phytoplankton monitoring and modelling for many years.

Anouk’s work combines near real-time sensor data from satellites and in-situ sensors, with models, meteorological data and citizen monitoring to generate early warnings of risks to human health. In the BlueAdapt project Anouk supervises the PhD study of Hao on improving modelling skills of health risks due to microbial contamination of Dutch coastal waters and how climate change could affect these health risks.
