Iraitz Jauregui

Research Assistant

Iraitz Jauregui is a Research Assistant at BC3 (Basque Centre for Climate Change) within the BlueAdapt project. He works in the Health and Climate research group within the Adaptation Lab research line. After completing his BSc in Biochemistry at the University Autonomous of Barcelona (UAB) 2020, he carried out an Erasmus Mundus Master in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology at three different universities, University of Liège (ULiège), University of Porto (UPO) and University of the Basque Country (EHU-UPV). For his master’s thesis he has carried out a systemic approach within the BlueAdapt project to understand the mechanisms by which climate change and pollution increase the risk of Vibrio-associated infections, being awarded with best master thesis project recognition by the jury panel of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology (ECT+) Consortium in PiE UPV-EHU on July 21st, 2023.
