Marc Neumann is an Ikerbasque Research Professor at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) and is the Project Coordinator of the BlueAdapt project.
Marc is an environmental engineer with a background in urban water systems. He conducted doctoral studies at ETH Zurich followed by postdoctoral research at Eawag (Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Sciences and Technology) and with the Canada Research Chair on Water Quality Modelling at Laval University.
Since 2012 he has been a Research Professor at the BC3 where he coordinates the research line on climate change adaptation. His main interests are in knowledge integration and environmental modelling in view of developing more holistic approaches for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
As Project Coordinator of the BlueAdapt project, his role is to enable the collaboration and flow of information across work packages, to supervise the project management and to liaise with the European Commission as well as the partner projects in the Climate and Health Cluster.
