Milan Ščasný is Senior Research Fellow at The Environment Center & The Institute of Economic Studies both at Charles University, Prague University of Economics and Business, and at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at Warsaw University, while also collaborating with OECD, ECHA, or WHO-Europe. His research has focused on consumer behaviour, valuation of non-market goods, particularly of health risks, and impact assessment using energy system and macro-economic models. Currently he is coordinating several large-scale projects “Global Excellence in Modeling Climate and Energy Policies” funded within the H2020 program, “Frontiers in Energy Efficiency Economics and Modelling” funded by The Czech Science Foundation, and “Center for Socio-Economic Research on Environmental Policy Impact Assessment” funded by Technological Agency of the Czech Republic. He has been involved in more than 60 research projects and co-authored over 60 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, including The Energy Journal, Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Climate Policy, Ecological Economics, Economic System Research, Environment & Behaviour, J Risk & Uncertainty, or J Health Econ.
