Reducing Health Risks in Coastal Waters:

Join us on Wednesday 12 June, 10:00 – 16:30 BST, for our first hybrid event. You can attend either online or in person at The Headland Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall (UK). You’ll hear from research experts across Europe about the links between climate change, pollution and health risks in our coastal waters. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from policy makers and organisations as we discuss how best to protect people’s health across Europe.

What to expect on the agenda:

The symposium will begin at 9:30 AM BST for those in person, and at 10 AM BST online.

The morning session will be hybrid, followed by lunch at 1:00 PM BST. The afternoon session will be in-person only, and will conclude at 4:30 PM BST.

This event is open to anyone interested in the topics of climate change, pollution, coastal waters and human health. For example you may be involved in public health, conservation, policy making, local government, NGOs, community groups, research or be an interested member of the public.
